The first 20 pounds came off quickly but the next 20 were so much work. I reached the 40 pound lost level about a month ago but, due to circumstances I cannot control, was unable to exercise, and have slid back 8 pounds.<br /><br />We live in a rural area - gravel roads, meadows, miles from the nearest gym. There's no money in the budget for a gym membership anyway. I do have a treadmill and a stationary bike but am bored out of my mind. <br /><br />While my brain thinks I'm 30, my body knows I'm 70 and there are lots of things I used to be able to do with ease that I just can no longer do.<br /><br />I'm tired of counting calories and depriving myself of things that I love. I'm tired of hearing the dogs howl because I've left them behind so I can run without being jerked around by them.
